Dance to one of the original Tango Nuevo groups of Buenos Aires!

TANGHETTO is the World-Famous, New Wave Electro-Tango, Multi-Award Winning Dance Band founded by Max Masri that helped launch the tango dance craze known as “nuevo” or “new” tango. Their performance at The Bearsville Theater includes social dancing with a live Music Milonga (Argentine Tango Dance Party) featuring….

+ DJ La Rubia Del Norte~ Spinning classic tango between sets.

– Enjoy the ambiance of a Buenos Aires Night Club, and experience one of the original and most famous “neo tango” dance bands from Buenos Aires; The sound is more modern than traditional tango, reminiscent of the club or lounge music, but more. It’s a fun, happy, interesting break from the passions of traditional tango music.

****** -Tanghetto ia a band of virtuoso Argentine musicians, playing a unique mix of “club meets milonga” live ELECTRO-TANGO music. They have recorded more than 13 albums, with numerous awards and tours to twenty+ countries. They are on tour in the NY area for a short period. There are just four NYC area Tanghetto dates – (they’ll be playing Lincoln Center three days before the Bearsville concert!) We are happy to be able to bring this super cool renowned group to the Woodstock, Bearsville, and Hudson Valley Community!!

The program will include:
6:15-7:00pm- Special Meet and Greet with Tanghetto band members in the Green Room (Package Reservations only)

7pm- Absolute Beginners Tango Class by Ilene Marder, founder of Woodstock Tango.

8pm-11pm- Tanghetto Concert, Live Music Milonga, Dance Performance By Maia & David; DJ classics between sets.

11pm-1am – Milonga continues with DJ La Rubia Del Norte.

The theater will be transformed into a Buenos Aires night club with special hi-top seating, and chairs along the perimeter of room, plus seating in balcony, in addition to seating in the adjacent lounge with full sound and sight lines, wooden floor.

– $15 – Late Night DJ Milonga Only from 11pm-1am. (No charge with earlier admission).
